Just Passing Through

My pride and joy, my autobiography - this is all personal, but I released it on Labor Day, and so far it's doing well. My friends are willing to read about my life, or at least a few of them are. It's here:

Just Passing Through: Autobiography and true stories from out there

So far it is available on kindle, paperback, and kindle unlimited; I am working on other places or ways to sell it. I am going to print a Quaker pamphlet myself, so there's no reason I couldn't just print stuff myself too, as I've always done with calendars and other kinds of books. Life is short and the world is small, get your story out there into it, I say.

It's been a fantastic week of releasing something I've spent so much time on. As a writer, I'm eager to move on; I don't like dwelling on myself. But, when I reread my own work, I often find things I missed the first few times around. It's very frustrating. I can proofread others' work much more easily. With my own, I seem to read what I want to read, and miss some details.

In addition, the Indians have changed their name to the Guardians. Do I let myself get totally dated?
